Introduction
Please note that this project was originally part of the Application Platform, but has now been segregated into a separate library since many projects do not require it.
This project includes the distribution of the original Cool Vid development package for I/O devices developed in late 2000. It's purpose is to allow access to ISA and parallel port Cool Vid devices (technical details of which will be added soon). It can also be used to access any I/O device, but be warned that spurious I/O operations can cause a system failure.
The library does NOT work with Windows NT®.

The package includes full C++ source code and a readme file containing full installation and usage guidelines.
The package is released under the GNU Public Licence 3.
